What a beautiful word and wouldn’t we all really like to be thought of as serene and certainly to be serenely happy with our lot?
I love the way the word rolls off my tongue, who doesn’t love the Serenity Prayer and most of all I love doTERRA’s Serenity.
Serenity is the oil blend that got me hooked. It combine the beautiful aromas of Lavender, Cedarwood, Ho Wood, Ylang Ylang, Mroram, Roman Chamomile, Vetiver, Vanilla and Hawaiian Sandalwood. When I was first given that bottle of joy, it transformed me out of a state of grief to one of acceptance and peace. It is the one bottle of oil I would save if I had to choose just one.
In New Zealand and Australia, Serenity is known as Lavender Peace. It is our Restful Blend. Whenever I feel stressed, hurt or just out of sorts, Serenity is what calms me and brings me to a spiritually calm sense of being, even when all around me is crazy or even fraught. A drop rubbed into my palms,a deep belly breath and I’m happy.
At night before bed, Serenity is added to my diffuser with Balance, both are rubbed onto my feet and a shake or two of Lavender is sprinkled onto my pillow. Vetiver and Juniper Berry are added when I really want to knock myself out. A Serenity Softgel and two drops of Frankincense and Copaiba under my tongue and it’s now a rare night that I don’t sleep soundly and pain free. No more nights awake for hours for me!
