Exceed - We Fix Windows and Doors with their charity Heartbox NZ, gave Embracing Hearts a very generous donation in late 2023. Throughout 2024, together we worked with St John Ambulance who had 26 top of the line AEDs regifted. These were all checked by the experts at Abletech Services Ltd at significantly reduced rates and sent out all over New Zealand with new batteries and pads, as needed thanks to the Exceed donation (2 were donated to local Heart Kids NZ branches for use in the community).

We were also able to donate a brand new AED to St Bernards College and Hutt Valley High School in Wellington with Wellington Free Ambulance.

They all had their community lockbox donated by local St John Area Committees, their own fundraising, local donors or Heart Beat in Wellington. 

Amazingly a number of these schools held or have plans to hold their own fundraising events and pay it forward, for other Kiwi schools to have an AED!
