Helping Find Passion & Zest For Life

Updated: Apr 12, 2019

Passion is a blend that I loved from my very first experience of it. I love to wear it as a perfume in the evenings and it is delicious blended with some of my other favourite oils. Yes you can blend the blends!!

I'm always fascinated by the emotional meaning behind our oils. What is it that draws us in? Is it childhood memories? Is there something deliciously familiar about it? Is it calming? Uplifting? Energising?

Today started off with a bit of an unusual slump for me. Those of you who know me well, know I'm a bit of a Pollyanna. I even have a blog called Being Pollyanna that journeys our time with our heart baby.

Today I just couldn't shake off a sense of feeling flat and uninspired. I am on holiday, in my favourite place. It's where I create, plan and sort my *%#@ out when it needs sorting. I am a list queen. If it's not written down it's not happening is one of my mantras.

Of course all I needed to do was reach for my oils. And today funnily enough Passion was the bottle that found its way into my hand. It is on my pulse points, in my diffuser (with Citrus Bliss - try it! They are sublime together!

Known as the Oil of Creativity and our Invigorating Blend, that is exactly what Passion has meant for me today. I am feeling energised, on top of what I need to do today and have all sorts of creative ideas that are taking beautiful shape.

Passion can help move us on from feeling "stifled creativity or artistic expression, insecure, unmotivated, disengaged, discouraged." Instead we feel "invigorated, childlike, creative, motivated, confident expression, spontaneous." You may even find that it "fills the heart with creativity and joy." Quote from Emotions & Essential Oils, A Reference Guide for Emotional Healing.

Essential oils give us the power over our emotions. We can totally alter how we are feeling when we need to. Are you feeling overwhelmed by Christmas coming, holidays, work, kids home all day, relies coming to stay, too many people in the shops?

My challenge to you is to take a moment. Think about how you feel, get out your bottle of Passion, pop a drop on your palms and take a deep inhale. Put a few drops in your diffuser and rub over your pulse points. Now have a think again about how you are feeling. I'm expressing my confidence that you feel pretty good and invigorated?

How does Passion make you feel and how to you love to use it?
